Top 3 Reasons to Hire an Organizer

Home organization professional organizer everyday organize

Ever wonder what exactly a professional organizer does but you are afraid to ask? Well, today’s your lucky day because we are going to dig in!

I want you to walk away knowing what I do as an organizer and the top 3 reasons that people hire me. Okay, I’m ready – are you?! Let’s do this.

What Does an Organizer Do?

Great question! I love when I get asked this.

My goal with every organize is to listen to what isn’t working in your home so I can create systems that will help your family get organized and stay organized long after I leave.

Does that make you want to get up and dance too?! Ok, maybe that’s just me

Every single client’s needs are different but my services could include:

  • Working together to declutter

  • Creating customized sketches and plans that will make your space work better for you

  • Finding ways to simplify and make organization achievable in your home

  • Offering product recommendations

  • Handling shipping and receiving so you don’t have to deal with it

  • Implementing the organizational plan

  • Styling your space and offering recommendations that complement your home and budget

  • Handling of all trash, recycling and donations from the organize

Why Hire an Organizer?

I’m gonna make it really simple because 1) I like to keep things simple, and 2) I love checklists.

Why hire Everyday Organize?

  • I am an expert at visualizing what a space could be and then making it happen

  • I will not only create organization in your space but I will make it beautiful

  • I have a vast knowledge of organizing products in every price range – this alone will save you hours by not having to do the research yourself

Okay, I stand corrected. I realized there is one more:

  • Your time is precious – allow me to do the work for you so you can spend your time enjoying your people and doing the things you love

How Does it Work?

In true Everyday Organize form, I want your experience to feel organized and simplified every step of the way! So here is a general outline of what it looks like to work with me. Of course, I approach each organize in a custom way so this will always just be a guide as we finalize our plan together.

Step 1 – Free Discovery Call: We start on the phone so I can hear more about your organizing needs and how I can help. I will answer any questions on the pricing (on my website here) and can give you an estimate.

Step 2 – In-Person Working Consultation: We meet in your home so I can see your space and measure – and potentially get started organizing

Step 3 – Behind the Scenes: I will take the information and sketch your space, provide you with a plan and any product recommendations, and do all of the product shopping budgeted in the organize.

Step 4 – Time to Organize: Once a plan is in place, I will arrive on organizing day with everything to get your space organized!

Okay, Here Are My Hangups…

I totally get it. Sometimes I just need to talk things out, so let’s do this.

I can’t justify spending the money.

You hire a house cleaner if you are too busy to clean your house. You hire a moving company to pack up your house. Or a personal trainer or fitness program to get your body in shape. Hiring a professional organizer is a form of self-care – your entire family will reap the benefits of a more stress-free, mess-free space.

I’m embarrassed…my house is probably the messiest you’ve ever seen.

I bet it’s not. But either way, there is no judgment. I am a busy mom and wife and I totally get it. Life is moving fast, and it’s my pleasure to help your day-to-day run smoother by creating intentional organizational systems in your home.

I worry about confidentiality.

I don’t share client names or information with anyone – our relationship is 100% between the two of us. I will only post before + after photos of your organizes if you sign off on that in the contract. And even then, I won’t mention client information, and won’t tag unless the client specifically asks me to.

My spouse/partner isn’t on board with this.

Would they get on a call with me? I bet I can pitch the benefits and help change their mind. Click here and we can set up a FREE Discovery Call – no strings attached. If they still aren’t on board after the call, then at least you tried!

Did I cover everything?? If you have any additional questions or hangups, just shoot me an email and I’d love to chat!
